Council Programme Update – Summer 2026
Council are planning to commission a three‑week summer scheme running from Monday 27 July to Friday 14 August 2026. The programme will provide play and sporting activities on each of the fifteen weekdays, with morning and afternoon sessions available throughout.
Delivery will be spread equally across the following three locations:
- Ael‑y‑bryn Community Centre
- Abertysswg Community Centre
- Pontlottyn Boys and Girls Club
The scheme will be aimed at Key Stage 2 children (ages 7–11). Further information, including the detailed schedule, will be shared once finalised.
In addition, Council are planning to deliver three Inflatable Fun Days during the week commencing 17 August 2026. These events will be delivered in partnership with In House Entertainment, Swansea, building on the excellent feedback received from the 2025 programme.
