Council Programme Update – Summer 2026
Council have commissioned a three‑week summer scheme running from Tuesday 21st July to Friday 7th August 2026. The programme will provide play and sporting activities on each of the fifteen weekdays, with morning and afternoon sessions available throughout.
Delivery has been spread equally across the following three locations:
- Ael‑y‑bryn Community Centre
- Abertysswg Community Centre
- Pontlottyn Boys and Girls Club
The scheme will be aimed at Key Stage 2 children (ages 7–11). Further information, including the detailed schedule, will be shared once finalised.
In addition, Council are planning to deliver three Inflatable Fun Days during the week commencing 17 August 2026. These events will be delivered in partnership with In House Entertainment, Swansea, building on the excellent feedback received from the 2025 programme.
