Grant Aid 2026-27

Local Organisations from Abertysswg, Pontlottyn and Rhymney wishing to apply for Grant Aid during 2026-27, please complete and return an application Form with a copy of the latest balance sheet* to Mr Geraint Williams Clerk to the Community Council

Council Community Defibrillator Project

Council is pleased to advise it has purchased and installed four life-saving defibrillators in external locations across the Community Council area. Early Years Penydre, Rhymney; Fish & Chip Shop Jerusalem Street, Rhymney; Pharmacy, Merchant Street Pontlottyn; and Community Centre, Abertysswg. All four were positioned and powered from mid-October 2019, the access code allocated based on the determination of need via the emergency services 999.

A further two devices were added to Council’s provision, these located at Maes y Graig, just off Carn Y Tyla Terrace, Abertysswg and at the shop in Garden City, Rhymney.
